The Living Area
The living area, which is circular, is a luxurious living space with wooden floors, and soft lighting. The restored stonework that extends from floor level upwards to a domed brickwork roof gives the room a wine cellar ambiance.
A magnificent view of Dublin Bay can be seen from the balcony terrace that opens out from the living room and which overhangs the coastline below.
The living area also comprises an open fireplace with an electric fire, two large sofas, and a dining table.
From the living area, access to the upper level is made via the stone stairwell. These narrow stairs in their original state open up into the kitchen/dining room that boasts a magnificent 360° view of Dublin Bay and surrounding areas. With the feature of the original cannon plinth in the center of the room the kitchen, with its modern handcrafted units, and all mod cons, and dining table. Bedrooms
The lower-level bedrooms are accessible either via the narrow internal stone staircase or from another external entrance doorway at ground level. At this level, there are two bedrooms and a bathroom.
The first bedroom, named ‘The James Joyce Room’ has been designed for maximum comfort with a king-size bed, designer furniture, and soft furnishings. This room is furnished in a tasteful fashion and benefits from natural light from the window, which given the 3-meter thickness of the Tower wall, creates a lovely “light corridor” feature. For storage, there is a double wardrobe and bedside tables.
The Second bedroom ‘The Napoleon Room’ is also designed with comfort in mind with a double bed and a beautiful view from the bedroom window.
Both rooms have access to the main bathroom.
The main bathroom is decorated in the floor to ceiling mirror tiles. There is a toilet, sink, bath, and shower.
Parking
The site provides private parking in the walled and gated access area immediately adjacent to the Tower.
